FILLING IMPLEMENTATIONS

Along with being connected to many factors; fillings are used to reduce the wrinkles, folds and contours of the folds and contours that occur due to age increase, and to increase the lip volume.
The ideal filling material should not be expensive, should not be carcinogenic, should be compatible with the body, should not cause allergic reactions and should have a long life span.

The filling materials are divided into 2 main classes, permanent and temporary ones. Permanent filling materials are divided to 3 classes amongst themselves; (autogenous) from our bodies, (biological) from other creatures, and synthetic ones. The most commonly used products are temporary filling materials with average 4-6 to 9-12 months. Temporary fillings, which consist of structural substances in the body or chemical substances that can be substituted for these structural substances, are preferred because the allergic potential is lower and the unwanted effects after application are limited to the duration of the filling. The hyaluronic acid contained in the temporary filling materials is a substance that exists in the dermis layer of the skin of all living things. It is also found in the eyes, joints and muscles tissue outside the skin. Thanks to the water retention feature, it plays a role in ensuring skin elasticity. The hyaluronic acid material of different molecular weight is selected according to the region to be filled.

Hyaluronic acid fillings can be applied to any area on the face that has volume loss and / or deep mimic lines. Filling types vary according to the level to be applied. The fillings applied to the skin or under the skin are not the same product. Here we determine the level of application based on the hyaluronic acid concentration of the filling and the cross-link density it contains. For example, the filling we apply to under eye should not be the same filling with the one we will apply to the cheek area.

The marks of this operation can only be noticed very closely because the eyelids are very thin and the marks are kept on the wrinkles. Stitches are taken off on the 5th-6th day. It does not need to be taken if molten stitches are used. After the operation the eyes are not closed, only small skin bands are placed on the operation lines on the eyelid, and a cold pad is applied to the eyelids.

Side effects that may occur during filling with hyaluronic acid are the pain at the injection side, bleeding, swelling, nodule and color change. Rarely, granulomas and abscess formation may occur in the late period. The most important thing to note during filling applications is that the product used is kept in sterile and suitable conditions and is applied to the person tailor made. No materials used outside the healthcare area should be used as filling material.
